I'm sometimes overwhelmed by the amount of information I don't know about my own hobby! Here are some of the resources I have used to learn more about Nesting Dolls.

Many of the pictures have detailed descriptions that are very helpful for identifying regions and styles. This is a private collection and none of her dolls are for sale.

"A Collector's Guide to Nesting Dolls" by Michele Lyons Lefkovitz

There are many inexpensive copies available as the book is from 1989. The date of publication obviously means there are some gaps, however the book is an excellent starting guide. Most of the pictures are in black and white, but there are a few pages in color.
