Nesting Dolls {A Collection​}

I was very far behind with my updates. Most pages have new dolls and the picture will say it was added this month even though most of the dolls have been in my possession for longer! The doll to the left is on the America(s) page and one of my favorites of this batch.

New dolls have been added to the following pages: Americas (ceramic 5 nest Columbia); Asia (Japan: Male & Female Daruma dolls, Shackman 5x3 tiny dolls) Modern Russian Dolls (Art: 13 n Grandmother with chickens, Tiny maidens, Mini 5 nest, and Art-Knight 7 nest); Poland (Other: 5 Nest blonde; Zakopane: 4 nest with base); USSR A-M (Kalinin: Father Frost; Kirov: 10 Nest Shawl Maidens);  USSR N-Z (Polkhov: 5 nest pear shape; Zagorsk: 5 nest brunette); USSR Unknown (4nest round dot maiden and 4 nest blonde dot maiden holding hands).

I've added the following dolls: America(s):Canada (Sochi Olympics); Poland: Fairy Tale (Hansel and Gretel) and Other (Brunette with Braids); Modern Russia: Religious (Orthodox with male head doll); USSR N-Z (Naro-Fominsk Conical Maiden and Zagorsk with wave scarf); USSR: Unknown Regions (Blonde with Red Scarf and Second USSR Penguin); Europe: Turkish men and women & English Warwick Miniature; Authentic Models (Dutch theme).

Oct. 28th through October 30th

1. The "India" page has been deleted and the doll images moved  to the "Asia" doll page. India is, after all, part of South Asia.

2. The Poland page has been reorganized. The previous grid has been sorted roughly by theme along the lines of "The Collector's Guide".

3. Dolls added: USSR: Unknown Region (Penguin); Poland (Nowysacz); Asia: Japan (Immortals, Warriors, Tiny 3x3 set).

 The "Modern Russian Dolls" page has been newly organized. Previously the dolls were all listed in a grid, I have now arranged the dolls by theme, more or less.

3 new dolls added. 1 set of tiny 3 nest maidens to Polish section; 2 sets to modern Russian dolls: unknown dot-veiled (featured) and a Goryachy set.

I've decided to photograph and share my collection of Nesting Dolls with the online world community. Beginning with dolls purchased in October 2013, I'll enter updates of where new doll photographs have been added. Everything before October 2013 is up and in place just as is for the moment.
